Gamers are a different breed. Unlike casual movie watchers, gamers often sit closer to the screen and lean forward (the "gamer lean") during intense moments. This changes the ergonomics of TV mounting entirely.
Eye Level for Gamers
For standard viewing, we align the center of the screen with your eyes. For gaming, we recommend aiming slightly lower.
Why? HUD elements (health bars, maps) are often in the corners. If the TV is too high, you are constantly flicking your eyes up, leading to rapid fatigue. Your eyes naturally rest more comfortably looking slightly down than up.
The "Gaming" Height Formula
Measure your seated eye height (usually lower on a gaming beanbag or couch). Mount the TV so your eyes hit the top 1/3rd of the screen. This mimics a PC monitor setup.
Glare Management
Nothing ruins a dark Elden Ring dungeon like a reflection of your window. Use a Tilt Mount to angle the screen down just 5 degrees—this often eliminates direct window reflections completely.
Level up your setup with a precision installation.
