A 4K picture deserves better than tiny TV speakers. Adding a soundbar is the single best upgrade you can make. But where do you put it? Floating on the wall, or hanging from the TV?
Option A: Wall Mounted
The Look: A clean, floating bar sitting 2-3 inches below the TV.
Pros: Aesthetically pleasing for fixed TV setups. Offers a "studio" look.
Cons: Requires drilling two extra holes. You also need to run a second channel for cables (HDMI ARC and Power).
Option B: Attached to TV (Bracket System)
The Look: The soundbar hangs directly from the TV's VESA holes using universal soundbar brackets.
Pros: Perfect for Full Motion Mounts. When you turn the TV to face the kitchen, the soundbar turns with it, keeping the audio synced with the picture.
Cons: Adds weight to the mount (make sure your arm can handle it).
Acoustic Tip
Never mount a soundbar inside a cabinet or too close to the ceiling. It needs "breathing room" to project side-firing and upward-firing Dolby Atmos effects.
Improve your audio game. Add soundbar mounting to your installation service.
